COVID-19 Guidance for Parents of Children Attending School
COVID-19 Alberta Health Daily Checklist
Please complete this daily checklist prior to attending school.
If a student answers YES to any of the questions, they MUST NOT be allowed to attend school. Individuals with fever, cough, shortness of breath or loss of sense of smell/taste are required to isolate for 10 days unless they receive a negative COVID-19 test and are feeling better.

Primary Symptoms Guide

Primary Symptoms include the following symptoms that are new, worsening or not related to other known causes:
- Shortness of Breath
- Loss of Sense of Smell / Taste
Secondary Symptoms Guide

Secondary Symptoms include the following symptoms that are new, worsening or not related to other known causes:
- Sore Throat
- Painful Swallowing
- Runny Nose / Congestion
- Feeling Unwell or Fatigued
- Nausea / Vomiting / Diarrhea
- Unexplained Loss of Appetite
- Muscle or Joint Aches
- Conjunctivitis (commonly known as pink eye)
